As members of the Sikh community we have gone through the trials and tribulations associated with growing up in western society. We feel that it is our obligation and privilege to help strengthen and develop the identity and heritage of the Sikh youth, and to give them the confidence to maintain that identity.
Come and join us as we delve into the topic of Sikh Sovereignty. Our guest speaker this year will be Santbir Singh from Toronto, Ontario who will be sharing with us several historical and contemporary aspects of this topic including: the evolution of Sikh Sovereignty beginning from Guru Nanak Dev Jee, Guru Hargobind Jee’s influence with Sikh Sovereignty and finally what the concept of Sikh Sovereignty means in our world today. Enjoy discussions with a wide variety of people, experience beautiful sangat in the mornings and evenings, have fun in the outdoors (swimming, skiing/snowboarding, tubing, and walks by the lake) and come back renewed and recharged!
